dc.description.abstract | The focus of this study was to assess whether the keyword method could be used as part of a regular teaching regime in a Greek language class. Questions to be addressed were: (a) how could the training of students in the keyword method be embedded in a classroom setting; and (b) how could this method be taught to facilitate learners' memory, demonstrating to the students a strategy both for retrieval and learning which could prove a most powerful tool in vocabulary acquisition. | en |
